Description:
The Project Management Office (PMO) coordinator is responsible for the set-up of a PMO for our clients and the management of the different PMO tasks afterwards.
The main responsiblilities of a PMO include:
• Project managed Methodology (Prince 2 or PMBOK)
• Coaching / training of the Project Manager with the above methodology
• Consolidation of project plans
• Tracking of progress against plan
• Financial follow-up (Forecast against Budget)
• Follow-up of issues risks and changes
• Attend progress meetings and follow-up of actions
• Compile PMO dashboard for reporting to management
• In some cases, resource planning can also be part of the PMO
• Eventually selection, installation and roll-out of project management tools.

Profile:
• Ideally having a university degree related to ICT or equivalent through experience.
• A proven track record of successful managing projects including a solid understanding of planning techniques.
• At least 3-8 years hands-on experience in managing complex ICT projects.
• Certification such as PRINCE 2 or PMP.
• Knowledge and/or certification of ITIL is also an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of at least one project planning and tracking tool, such as MS-Project.
• Able to act as a moderator between Business & IT-technical teams.
• Solid understanding and ability to manage people and project activities.
• Trilingual (English, Dutch and French).
• Convincing leadership and strong coaching ability.
• Team-Player but able to work individually (take the lead).
• Distinctive customer focus.
• Strong drive to achieve results.
• Critical and analytical minded, able to detect possible problems and take corrective action.
• Stress-resistant.
• Structured and organized.
• Quality minded.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills .
