The IT Program Manager will be assigned to a variety of projects at our customers. A Program Manager will typically assume major accountability for the overall success of multiple projects within a program.
A Program Manager is expected to set-up a strategy in order to align all projects and project goals with the business goals of the organization.
While the specific tasks involved can vary from one project to another, the main activities will consist of the following:
• Set-up and define metrics to measure the business benefits of a program (KPI’s).
• Follow-up the progress of all individual projects and coach the project managers reporting to you.
• Risk management including definition of mitigation, contingency plan and continuous reporting of the exact status of the risks.
• Timely escalation of issues (both technical and project-related), their analysis and resolution.
• Definition of a master plan, management of dependencies with other projects.
• Continuous advice and support to customer management during the entire project life-cycle.
• Successful delivery of the projects on time - within budget, meeting required quality standards and achieving customer satisfaction.
• Find the correct balance in value and risk (able to provide strategic direction).

For this profile you may expect a monthly salary of 4000 € brut.

• Ideally having a Master degree related to ICT or equivalent through experience
• The candidate has an extensive project/program management background, involving at least 5 - 10 years hands-on experience in manging complex ICT projects.
• Excellent knowledge of at least one project planning and tracking tool, such as MS-Project.
Solid understanding and ability to manage people and project activities.
• Being able to work on a higher strategic mangement level and cope with the business challenges within large and complex organizations.
• Ability to align business requirements with IT-solutions (business-IT alignment).
