Your role will be to assist the CIOs, CTOs, ICT Managers and Directors at our customers in creating and executing their strategic and tactical plans. Business IT Alignment (BITA) or Fusion is key for any successful program of these managers.
You will be the prime advisor of these managers in strategic and tactical decisions. Therefore, you are an excellent listener. Furthermore, you are proactive, trustworthy, diplomatic and honest. You apply your knowledge and experience with a great sense of pragmatism.
You are able to detect and solve complex issues and pain points in the area of Enterprise Governance of IT, IT Governance and the strategic IT - Management processes. You have the capacity to create a high level strategic plan, including the deduction of pragmatic steps at lower level.
You are a senior profile, able to introduce yourself and show your added value to Senior and Top-managers. You have a genuine commercial attitude and able to enlarge your assignments. You are able to present for a large audience.
Your past experiences are typically senior ICT Management consultancy activities.
Typically, your assignment is not a full-time assignment and you are able to have multiple assignments at the same time.
The prime mission of your assignments will be related to:
Achieving business/IT alignment.
Help business and enable IT to secure optimal value from their IT enabled investments.
Enable IT to secure optimal risk adjusted return.
You will organize the IT organization to optimally deliver strategic value. In addition, you will enable the business organization to monitor, evaluate and direct IT to achieve an expected value / risk return, including IT in their strategies and operations.
You will take responsibility in managing and delivering parts of or full activities such as: Define and manage Enterprise IT Governance implementation programs and roadmaps. Define and be responsible for the execution of implementation roadmaps. Setup and run

Profile:
You have a master degree, university or equivalent (Business and Economics, or ICT)
You are a senior profile with at least 10 to 15 years of management experience
Ability to think strategically, go beyond the operational.
Able to formulate strategy and transform it into tactics that work.
You have a pragmatic and flexible approach in implementing good practices, standards, or improvement plans.
Familiar with working in large organizations.
Able to translate complex matters into common sense, common language and formulate clear conclusions.
Experience and insights in some of the following domains: Business IT alignment, Strategic planning, with regard to IT and / or business, IT Strategy and its components, Value Governance or management, Enterprise or IT Risk Management, Performance and Conformance measurement, Resource Management, Strategic sourcing
Notions and insight in Enterprise Architecture concepts and operating models are a definite asset.
General knowledge of IT Governance frameworks, processes, structures and relational mechanisms.
Experience or insights in Enterprise IT governance processes, frameworks, structures and mechanisms.
Notions of Enterprise or Corporate Governance are an asset.
Experience in process design techniques is a plus.
Be able to translate the ICT to business and vice-versa.
Knowledge and implementation experience with several frameworks and standards (ex. CobiT, good knowledge preferred, certification is an asset), Val-IT, Risk-IT, ISO 38500/AS 8015, Balanced Score Card,...
Insights in the importance and effect of the soft factors: leadership, culture, human behavior.
Very strong affinity with IT Management and hands-on experience in managing part of the IT function.
General knowledge about common IT Management and Quality frameworks, their interrelationships and where to apply these to solve typical management issues and pain points.
